This is an aged raw pu-erh tea dated in 1995.
Raw pu-erh is made from non-fermented green tea leaves that are picked, quickly roasted, sun-dried and then compressed into round mini cakes. After which the cakes are aged until the tea’s taste is properly transformed.
Because raw pu-erh doesn’t go through the piling process, it retains a fresh scent as well as a little bit of astringency, with a sweet aftertaste.
Instructions
Unwrap and brew in a teapot for 3-4 minutes. Reuse tea leaves 2-3 times or as desired.
